Support the Library's Future

Wichita Public Library Foundation has launched the NEIGHBORHOOD LIBRARY CAMPAIGN in partnership with the City of Wichita to fund $12.6 million of facility and equipment needs at four neighborhood libraries across Wichita.

We need your help! Wichita Public Library Foundation is raising $2 million towards that goal to ensure the Library will have resources to inspire lifelong learning, advance knowledge, and strengthen our community.

These improvements are underway at Alford, Angelou, Rockwell and Westlink
branches, and will increase literacy and provide reading-rich resources
and opportunities to everyone in Wichita.
Highlights of the branch remodels include:

Renovate and expand study and meeting rooms

Create outdoor spaces for the Westlink and Angelou branches

Install an automated materials handler for book returns at Westlink

Construct a drive-through for the Rockwell branch

Inspire patrons and staff with a large and diverse collection of artwork

The remodeled branches are expected to open over the next year, and will enhance literacy programs, increase digital inclusion, expand workforce development, and provide engagement opportunities.

Thank you for considering an investment in the future of Wichita with the NEIGHBORHOOD LIBRARY CAMPAIGN.

Together we create opportunities for A Stronger Wichita at all seven Wichita Public Library locations.
